Coaching Benefits for Kids

Build a strong foundation

No matter your child’s skill level, our progress roadmap will help them develop the fundamentals of mountain biking. Curious about what they’ll learn at their very first coaching session? We’ve got you covered!

Discover your child's mountain biking passion.

Our ultimate goal is to help your child discover the joy of mountain biking and develop the skills and confidence to pursue it for years to come. With our coaching and supportive approach, we’re confident they’ll have a great experience on the trails.

Trade screen time for fresh air

Playing games on cellphones or iPads isn’t necessarily bad, but it can be too much for kids. That’s why our students balance their screen time with mountain biking — they game on weekdays and bike on weekends, which is a healthier option. Some of them even ride bikes all day instead of playing games. The skills and confidence they gain from mountain biking will stay with them for life. It’s a great way for your child to have fun and relieve stress, even as they grow up. Consider mountain biking as an option for your child’s outdoor activities.

What People Say

“Was so impressed with how Shun motivated my 9 and 12 year olds. I was initially a little unsure of their biking skills but he was so thorough and made it fun and rewarding. Strongly recommend BoFA ride. These skills will be with them forever”

Jane.C

““So surprised how much my daughters have been into MTB.
Especially my 6yo daughter who had ridden a bike only 1-2 times before she met Shun, got more confidence in not only biking skill but also herself. He is really friendly and respectful for kids. And always takes care of their safety too! Thank you and keep going!””

Akane.G

“Shun has been wonderful with my 7 year old who started taking lessons less than a year ago. Now the little guy has progressed from the family tracks to riding the harder blues with me at the back of woodhill and even hitting up some gnarly stuff at wcr in riverhead.

Getting those fundamentals right and knowing how to approach new terrain has been great for his confidence. Makes me wish I took lessons when I started instead of falling a lot or just being way too slow!”
